I'm thrilled to be Guest Designing with the Just Us Girls Challenge for the month of February. This week's Challenge is a Word Week ~ Friend.
One of the earliest friendships I remember loving was Snoopy & Woodstock. I even used my own money to buy myself a t-shirt with an image very similar to the one I used on my card today, so it felt sweetly nostalgic. When I saw these adorable Charlie Brown & Friends papers, I had to have them. I detail cut the Friends image from one of the papers.
To continue the sun ray feel from the center of the image, I embossed a gold painted Gelliarts Print with the Spellbinders Sun Rays Detailed Embossing Folder. Then I used the Spellbinders Essential Stylish Oval Die to cut the embossed paper. To bring out the pattern, I applied Catherine Pooler Tiki Torch ink to the raised dots.
I added some fun coordinating Doodlebug Designs Hello Again Puffy Icon stickers and finished with a stamped "All The Feels" sentiment before attaching it all to a piece of handmade painted paper leftover from a recent collage class I took from Catherine Rains.
This card makes me happy … and I hope making a card for one of your friends makes you happy too, so you'll come join me at Just Us Girls Challenge … can't wait to see what you make.

Stephanie, I am a long time Snoopy fan so your fun card caught my eye right away. Love the colors and cute design!
Stephanie, your Snoopy and Woodstock image couldn’t be sweeter and it’s absolutely perfect for this challenge. Definitely smiling in seeing this.

Stephanie… what fun!! Snoopy was such a cute idea… thanks so much for being our guestie this month and sharing your creativity!
Your card has a wonderful nostalgic feel with all the puffy stickers and the sweet Snoopy and Woodstock image, Stephanie.
I love your Snoopy and Woodstock! The oval with the sun rays was the perfect choice for the image and I love that hand painted background, too. The perfect friend card!
