For the Labor Day Weekend, Katie Pertiet had a half-off birthday sale in her Shop, so I did a little shopping. I was thrilled when I stumbled across her Chinese New Year Stamp Pack (I also grabbed this adorable Dragon Trainer set for a future card).
I combined it with some of her printable solids paper and some of her digital stitching to make a card for the Lunar New Year Challenge.
I used the Barn Door Distress Watercolor Crayon to do a very loose watercolor for the dragon image.
When it dried, I matted it with a thin later of gold glitter paper before adding a red mat and attaching it all to a black card base. I finished with some gold embellishments.
