When I saw Seeka's gorgeous Zinnia Card, I knew those die cuts from PaperTrey Ink needed to come live with me. The release was at 9pm Tuesday night, and I had them in my hot little hands Saturday morning, so I did not delay.
I decided to use the colors from the Just Us Girls Color Week Challenge to inspire my design, since hot pink and orange is a favorite color combination (and since in paper crafting land things can be any color you want them to be).
I used foam between the layers of the blooms and the center for dimension. I used only two colors of cardstock, but added some ink to the bottom layer for contrast.
The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp Silhouette Sentiments.
I'm also linking-up at the Simon Says Stamp Anything Goes Challenge. And my bright Summer Blooms are joining the Time Out Challenge It's Always Summer Somewhere.
Here are some gorgeous Zinnias from my trip to the Farmer's Market yesterday.
