You Made My Day

I was thinking about how many of my cards are based on things I haven't put away on my studio table … this would be another one.

I used the reverse side of this designer paper on another card, but when I saw the sketch at CAS Colours & Sketches, I thought these flowers would work well for the circles.  I die cut them and added a tiny bit of navy ink on the edges to give the overlapping circles a bit more contrast.  

I pulled the gold from one of the flowers for the banner and the light blue from the little dots for my sentiment (when I stamped it on white, it just got lost in the background).  Sentiment is from Picket Fence Studios Ways to Express Yourself (which had a pricing sticker from The Ink Pad on it, which is embarrassingly from more than a few years ago … miss you Anna).  I added a few bits of tiny white bling in the centers of the darker blue flowers.

My golden banner looks just like the cupcakes at the Cupcake Inspiration Challenge where it's an Anything Goes Challenge.
