Before I put them away, I couldn't resist making a few more cards with the Taylored Expressions Boots & Blooms Layering Stencils using a different color palette (see yesterday's cards here). These were the Taylored Expressions inks I used.
I decided to pair the stenciled images with gelliarts prints from my stash in the same colors. I love the vibrant combination of bright pink and orange. I didn't have a Mother's Day sentiment from Taylored Expressions that worked, so I used one from Sassy Mama by CZ Design (I remedied my sentiment issue after I made these cards by picking-up Mini Strips – You're the Best from my local store Scrapmania).
For the second card, I found a piece of paper in my stash where I rolled-off paints that had both the pink & soft orange … I really like how those iris look in yellows.
I used the same sentiment and added some yellow Pinkfresh Studio Jewel Essentials to finish the card.
