Holiday Cards To DIE(cut) For

The newest Jingle Belles prompt is all about Die Cuts (we're also allowing punches or electronic die cuts from Cricut or Silhouette) … we're just asking that Die Cuts be front and center on your design.

I started with the Trinity Stamps Mini Slimline Woven Die originally cut from white cardstock (which didn't give enough contrast to my other white elements as I started building my design), so I die cut it a second time from one of the thin marbled & gelliprinted pieces of paper on my studio table left over from this card, and attached the two together for sturdiness before attaching to a Gelliprinted background.

I used this week's Try A Sketch on Tuesday layout for my design.

I die cut four different Simon Says Stamp Snowflakes – Jewel, Kinley, Bliss & Alicia – as well as the CZ Design Joyful sentiment all from heavy white cardstock.

I finished with Pinkfresh Studio Gems in the centers of the snowflakes & scattered in clusters on the background.

I'm also joining the Simon Says: Anything Goes Challenge.
