When I saw the sentiment in the Jaded Blossom Knit Happens set, I knew my favorite crochet-master Lauren would appreciate it. I decided to ink-it-up and join the Jaded Blossom June Clean and Simple Card Challenge.
I stamped the sentiment & the yard ball in black, clear embossed, and then ombre-colored with yellow & green for the Color Hues Challenge. I added some green pearls to finish the design.
I'm also joining The Paper Players One Layer Wonder Challenge.
Here's one of my favorite gifts that Lauren has crocheted me … my own Frida Khalo Monster (with her pet monkey).
That sentiment got a smile and chuckle from me! I love your CAS design. Thanks for sharing with us at Color Hues!
Haha, that’s a great sentiment with that image…I should get this for my daughter, she is a crocheting fiend! Fun way to play with our challenge, definitely made me smile! Thanks for playing! And the the little Frida monster is cute too!
A double treat visiting your blog Steph! First your fun and fabulous card with that hilarious and punny sentiment and then seeing your crocheted gift of Frida’s cute little monster! Sweet! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Color Hues!

Oh… now that just made me howl with laughter! I love that you kept the colors to a minimum so that we could focus on the image and the sentiment. So glad you shared this with us at The Paper Players this week
