Embossed Holiday Flora

We're still having fun with texture embossing at Jingle Belles for our current holiday card prompt.

I love Gina K. Designs embossing folders, so I started with her Holiday Flora Embossing Folder on brown Core'dinations cardstock (with a light blue core).  I did some extra sanding with a nail file to bring out the texture.

Next I used a combination of stamps to create a holiday Wreath for Gina's February Monthly Mix Challenge to create a card with a wreath.  It's been some time since I broke out that ingenious tool … I always love seeing what comes out in the end.

I used Gina K. Designs Two-Step Holiday MINI, Holiday Wreath Builder & Mini Wreath Builder with three colors of green, two colors of teal, brown for the pinecones and red for the berries and finished with clusters of silver metallic pearls.  I love how the stamps pick-up the same images found in the embossed card base.

I finished with a wrap of ribbon for this horizontal card design.

I'm also linking-up at the Simon Says: Emboss It Challenge.
