When I saw the Wild With Washi Challenge at Simon Says Stamp, I knew I had to join the fun. As I peered into my big Washi drawer, the yet-to-be-used Star Wars Washi Tape is what caught my eye, so I assembled my card with those colors in mind. I love randomly combining patterns and colors to create a cohesive design.
The placement of my washi tape was inspired by the Sketch at the Global Design Project, but when I was done, I realized I needed to rotate the sketch to work with the patterns on the tapes.
I went hunting for a vertically positioned sentiment that went with my design and landed on this vintage wood-mounted sentiment by Tim Holtz from Stampers Anonymous.
