We're still creating vintage inspired designs at Jingle Belles this week.
I still had a collection of vintage papers on my studio from the college I made in my Art Journal for Wanderlust, so I decided to create another vintage paper collage for my card this week. I added in some holly and berries paper from a my vintage Ideals Magazine I used for last week's vintage card.
I found a collection of vintage replicated post cards in my stash (which of course ended-up covering most of my collage) … but as Lauren says, the amount of the collage that is covered is how you know a true college artist
I trimmed him down a bit so more of the collage would show and matted him with a thin black border for a bit more contrast against the vintage papers. I loved how the image repeated the holly and berries from the background.

Wow that is really a 50’s snowman love it. fabulous background and yes the holly in the snowman’s hand ties the background to the image.
