when I think Vintage Christmas, I immediately go to my stash of vintage Ideals Christmas Magazines that were saved from the recycle bin. My Gran always had ideals Magazines on her coffee table in the formal Livingroom (you know the one the kids usually weren't allowed to visit). I always felt so grown-up when I sat in the wing back chair reading the current issue of Ideals, so those magazines hold happy memories for me.
I found a Poinsettia page that I thought would work well for a card front, so I trimmed around it leaving a slight edge and attached it to an ivory card base.
The next thing I think of with vintage are Tim Holtz vintage-inspired Ephemera, so I added that on top of my poinsettia.
I finished with Crystalline Drops in the centers of the Poinsettias and a scattering of golden gems.
