We're still creating with Stars & Stripes at Jingle Belles this week. I grabbed my 1 1/4" square punch and started going through my holiday paper punching anywhere I found stars or stripes. I didn't really have a plan in mind, but hoped that when I saw all of those squares, something would come together.
As I moved them around on my studio table, I decided I would try to piece together a quilt-like background on a kraft card base and this is what I came up with.
I used some circle bling to highlight the one red glitter star and then added three gold glitter foam stars for a bit more bling. I finished with the typewriter holiday elements sentiment from Memory Box.
I'm also linking-up at Make My Monday where they also have a Stars and/or Stripes theme.
It's also Christmas in July at Shopping our Stash.

What a fun holiday card! Love your use of squares with different papers. Thank you for playing with us at the Alphabet Challenge and hope you can join us again soon.
