Today's class at Spring Card Class 2 was all about Watercolor Washes with Ashlea Crafts.
I tried a monochromatic green wash, but didn't get quite the blend I was hoping for due to the texture of my paper, but I didn't let that stop me … I went in with some gold metallic paper and added a second wash on top (because I've never been very good at following instructions). I loved the final effect.
Next I die cut my watercolor paper with The Modern Motif Die from The Stamp Market. II mixed up a few of the diamonds and reinserted them after attaching to my dark brown card base.
I finished with a sentiment from The Stamp Market Big Botanicals.

Love this card! Really like the fun geometric pattern. Great job with the water color wash!
