The newest Stay Crafty with Hero Challenge #staycraftywithhero is Essential Kindness … create a thank you card to give to an essential worker.
One group of essential workers I often see omitted from the list are Postal Carriers who are out there each and every day making sure all of those online purchases (and cards and gifts that we mail) make it to their intended location … and because package delivery is heavier, they are often working 10-12 hour days 6 days a week to make sure it all gets done (yes, full disclosure … my husband is one of those postal carriers who has been working those long hours). So here is my postal carrier thank you.
I wanted to include an envelope on my card, so I folded my own using this video and some lovely Hobby Art Int'l Supply Origami paper gifted to me by a crafty friend. I forgot how relaxing folding origami can be. It would be easy to make this envelope in any size.
I used the heart stamp & die from Hero Arts Thank You Messages to make the seal for my envelope and finished with a stamped sentiment from the same set.
Thanks to all of the Postal Carriers who are keeping our economy moving (and those crafty supply deliveries coming to my home)
