After last week's Makeover Card for the Gina K. Designs January Monthly Mix Challenge, I decided to do a makeover on an older Gina K. Designs card from April 2016. This was a Wedding Card for the Splitcoast Stampers Inspiration Challenge.
I stuck with Authentique Papers, the same Gina K. Designs Always & Forever Image (and sentiment … now discontinued) and the Gem Flourish for my Makeover design.
This time I used Authentique's Everlasting Collection and cut several 1" or so strips to create the patterned background. Another thing that has changed since 2016 is the Gina K. Designs Amalgam Ink … it made stamping that solid couple so much easier. Since by background was monochromatic, I added a contrasting red bling flourish and finished with some gem hearts instead of a flower.
I really like both versions of this design, but I think the contrast of the red and black make that one a bit more elegant.

Gorgeous cards
Ooo i love the make over! Im a b/w/r fan! Thanks for playing along in our MMC @ Gina K. Designs!
