In my imaginary neighborhood …

I bought the City Stacks Stamp Set from Concord & 9th entirely for the "In my imaginary neighborhood" sentiment. 

When I read stories of friends buying a neighborhood of tiny houses or big house to share when they retire, I think how fun it would be to just have a house filled with art supplies and all my crafty friends (although I'm guessing no one would want to do the dishes, so we would need a maid too).

I decided to use my Memory MISTI to extend my neighborhood.  When I originally stamped, I intended to position my sentiment under the City-Scape, so I used a piece of typing paper to mask along the bottom when I stamped.

But as often happens, I ended-up trimming my space below the city too narrow to fit the sentiment, so I added some red cardstock to ground the buildings and stamped my sentiment in the sky.

This card is already in the mail on the way to one of my crafty friends who loves the city as much as I do.
