The Monday Challenge at Simon Says Stamp is to Make Your Own Background. I wanted to break-out the new Aladine Fuchsia IZink Diamond Glitter Paint and A Colorful Life Designs Boho Medallion Stencil from Technique Junkies to create some glittery goodness. Remember you get 10% off your order at Technique Junkies with my Discount Code TJ10Stephanie.
I used my Memory MISTI Mouse Pad as my mat (the glittery paint wiped away easily with just a wet paper towel). I sprayed my stencil with the new Pixie Spray Adhesive, which is especially helpful for intricate stencils like this one.
The first squeeze of the container blooped a bit, so make sure you're holding it over your paper. It spread very easily, but next time I think I'll try thicker watercolor paper rather than basic cardstock.
Make sure you give it plenty of time to try. I rushed it a bit trying to trim my edges.
I attached my panel to a dark grey mat before attaching to a white card base.
I used the Technique Junkies Serenity Butterfly as my sentiment with a pink gem in the flower center. I initially stamped it in the same bright pin, but it got lost in all of the glittery sparkle, so I went with Black Amalgam ink instead. I used a 3-D Glue Dot trimmed into a strip down the center of my butterfly for dimension.

What a lovely card, the glittery doily is amazing. Thank you so much for joining us at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. Hugs, Sandra
