Blooming Thank You

The current Unity Stamp Company Challenge is to create a card with an image stamped Off the Edge.  I started by stamping the large bloom from Hello Beautiful twice on scraps of pink cardstock with Versafine Clair Chanti ink and detail cutting the flower.

The Thank You Sentiment from Unity Jar of Mixed Sentiments also stamped on the pink cardstock.  I die cut three tropical leaves and then assembled my design using a sketch from Hand Stamped Sentiments Sketch Challenge using a piece of designer paper from Prima's Golden Coast Collection.

After assembling my card (pretty risky) I decided to use several shades of colored pencil on the centers of my flowers … and I added a bit of corner stamping with the grid stamp from Hello Beautiful.

I'm also linking-up at the Flower Challenge with Retro Rubber … the Hello Beautiful stamps are from May 2017 and Jar of Mixed Sentiments is from September 2015.

I also took my inspiration from the Inspired By … Full Bloom Challenge.

  1. Wow! I love the way the bloom go off the edge of the page – so interesting. I also love that little drizzle of a stamp in the top corner – such a great finishing touch. The die cut leaves are gorgeous and seem to have a lovely texture too. Thanks for joining in with us at Retro Rubber Challenge.

  3. What gorgeous tropical flowers! I like that you Stamped directly on colored cardstock rather than coloring the flowers with some sort of ink. Thanks for playing along with us at Hand Stamped Sentiments!
