I started my crafty morning at the SplitCoastStampers Featured Stamper Challenge. I chose this card by Kathy to inspire my design.
That coffee mug reminded me of the new Jillibean Soup Hug in a Mug Shaker Stamp & Dies I received for Christmas (thanks Bev … I had to laugh when I clicked through to link her blog and saw the last card she posted used the same mug & sentiment … I promise I didn't copy). I stamped it in the same lime green as Kathy's Cup and die cut it with the coordinating die. I stamped one of the sentiments on a scrap of white paper and attached it behind the die cut mug.
I couldn't quite figure out what to do next, so I took a break and did a little blog reading on my computer, which brought me to The Paper Players Crazy About Critters Challenge. I remembered I had some fun Planner Peeker Critters from Pink & Main that would work perfectly with my mug.
I added the Peeking Panda Bear and then finished my card using this week's layout from Atlantic Hearts Sketch.
I used some vintage BasicGrey Bling for the three dots in the sketch. The background paper is Amy Tangerine.
I'm also joining the It's On the Menu Challenge at the Double D Challenge Blog.
The theme is Hey Newbie! (something new) at Little Red Wagon (my stamp & die set are new) and Something New at Simon Says Stamp.
