For the 11th Ellen Hutson Tag of Christmas with a Feminine Twist, the theme is Neutrals.
I chose Miriam's adorable peek-a-boo double tag as my inspiration. I used the de-bossed side of the Tim Holtz Texture Fades Poinsettia Embossing Folder on white textured cardsotck for my background tag, then I cut an oval from a piece of wood cardstock for the front tag.
I used one of my favorite MISTI tricks for stamping on my die cut pieces. I cut out my snowman, scarf and hat from Ellen Hutson Snow Buddies, and then placed the negative into my MISTI. You can easily position your stamp inside the space & pick it up with your MISTI lid.
After you pick-up the stamp, position your die cut inside the space … and stamping perfection. I added a little blue marker to my snowman, some neutral snowflakes stamped on the wood paper tag, and finished with a sentiment from Ellen Hutson's Snow Buds.
Here's the adorable tag by Miriam that inspired my design.
I'm also joining the Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge at the House That Stamps Build (vertical right down the center).

oh, how sweet! i love the layout and the de-bossed background; fabulous!
