I wanted to see if I could rescue the other Foiled Alcohol Ink pieces I made for the Ellen Hutson Alcohol Ink Essentials Challenge.
I decided the one on the left that I made with Pinata Alcohol Inks might make a lovely flower (the ink coverage turned out super-dark on the paper I used, and then the foil stuck to lots of the ink when I put it through the laminator).
I stamped Essentials by Ellen Mondo Magnolia multiple times with my MISTI (and clear embossed multiple times because I had trouble getting the ink to show-up on all of that color and foil) with the Essentials by Ellen Mondo Magnolia. I still didn't like how the center of the bloom looked, so I stamped it a second time on a piece of watercolor paper that I painted with the alcohol inks.
I paired the bold bloom with a sentiment from Essentials by Ellen Totally Random Sayings Volume 1 using this week's CAS on Friday Sketch.
