Happy Colors

I decided to use the Happy Color Challenge at Impression Obsession to re-stock my Thank You Card stash.

These are three of my Happy Colors – Bright Orange, Bright Pink and Vibrant Yellow.  I used my MISTI and all three colors to ink Impression Obsession Flower Collage.

I found it worked best when I stamped the Yellow (Tiki Torch) in the middle first and then edged the stamp with the darker colors.

I also took my inspiration from the fun photo at Inkspirational Challenges that also features those colors (and a couple more of my favorites, Lime & Teal).

I cut my Flower Collage into an oval and added a Lime Thank You from Impression Obsession You Made My Day set.  I angled my wood grain paper background like the inspiration photo.

For the next card, I used the Try Stampin' (or Not) on Tuesday Sketch together with another Impression Obsession Thank You Stamp

Rather than use two different papers, I cut my image on an angle and left some space to frame it in golden yellow.

For my final Happy Color card I used the Sketch from Fusion Card Challenge together with Technique Junkies Grunge Thank You inked in Tiki Torch & edged along the bottom in Tutti Frutti.

I used a few paper flowers for the circle in the sketch.

With all of these flowers, I'm also joining Charlotte's Feminine Anything Goes Watercooler Wednesday Challenge.

Such fun creating with my happy colors.

  1. Definitely a “happy card”, Stephanie! And you also achieved the optional “textures” part of the sketch with the visual textures of your flower collage stamp! Thank your for joining us at Try Stampin’ on Tuesday! -Donna
