A Cup of Christmas

It's been fun collaborating with Joy Clair Stamps for the month of March.

Today I combined stamps from Joy Clair's Christmas Coffee & Ugly Sweater Background Builder (I love how the repeated design elements work together).

I found with Christmas Coffee, it worked better for me to stamp the outline first and then stamp the inside pattern.

The MISTI makes it easy to line-up your stamps.

I used the Ugly Sweater Builder and my Memory MISTI to stamp the background for my card (yes indeed my Christmas Trees are upside down … lucky for me, I could just flip the design).

The layout is this week's Match the Sketch.

I'm also joining the Sisterhood of Snarky Stamps for their N is for NEED Coffee Challenge.

  1. Love the patterns in this Ugly Sweater set! Great background for the patterned mug! The MISTI is awesome with the border stamps to ensure stamping them straight and getting them lined up!

  2. Beautiful card, I thought you’d used paper piecing for the coffee cup, I’m very impressed that it’s stamped so perfectly. Thanks for sharing with the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers.

  5. To me, this is NOT an ugly sweater pattern — I’ve seen so many that are far worse! (And I may have owned one or two of them…) I think it’s very pretty in green and white. Even with my MISTI, I can seldom stamp as perfectly as you did with the pattern in the coffee mug, sigh. 😀 Thanks for joining the fun at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers!
