So thrilled to be hopping with Heffy Doodle and My Sweet Petunia today.
I received the adorable Happy Snappy Crocs Stamp Set & the Jet Alphabetters Stamps.
I found a scrap of Basic Grey paper that felt like the perfect Crocodile Green … I love being able to stamp multiple images at a time with my MISTI.
I used the same multi-stamping process with all of my accessories, stamping the same group on several colors of cardstock.
One of my favorite accessories in the Happy Snappy Croc set is the block of cheese … I come from a cheese-loving family. My father managed cheese manufacturing plants when we were young, so those smells and tastes always take me right back to childhood. One of my absolute favorite breakfasts (that I first remember sharing with my Dad at a very young age) is warm glazed donuts and super-sharp cheddar cheese (so sharp it makes that little pain behind your ears). For me, the sharper the cheese the better.
So, I knew I would have lots of options for sending a fun cheesy birthday card (that's me … with a big cheesy grin while I am hoarding all the cheese).
I couldn't surrounding him with a halo of cheese (I like to think he's showing-off his juggling skills).
For my second card, I wanted to re-purpose the polka dot paper bag that was included with my stamp order … I thought it made the perfect sky for my happy little Crocodile.
I also couldn't resist adding some fun little eye-ball stickers. I colored his teeth with my Dyan Reaveley White Paint Pen. I also did something on this card that I never would have done before my MISTI … stamped my sentiment on finished product (if you notice on many of my early cards, the sentiment was almost always on a separate piece of paper) … no worries about messing-up with my MISTI.
For my final card, I used my Jet Alphabetters for part of my sentiment … doesn't he make a perfect sommelier?
My MISTI made it easy to position my sentiment on the landscape (and stamp the SIP twice without moving my letters.
Now it's time to go a' hopping to see lots more Heffy Doodle and My Sweet Petunia fun. We will choose two lucky commenters from the hop to win one of two prizes: a $50 shopping spree at www.mysweetpetunia.com and a 25 pound shopping spree at Heffy Doodle. Make sure you comment no later than Sunday, March 4th, at 11:59 PM CST and winners will be announced on Tuesday March 6th, on the Heffy Doodle and My Sweet Petunia blogs.

I like the paper piecing and the little images you used on these fun croc cards.
Sweet sweet sweet. TFS.
super funny cards!
Fun fun fun cards!!! I’m from Wisconsin so you know I’m a cheese head so that first card would be perfect for anyone of my family and friends!!! Thanks for sharing 😊
So cute I especially like the Sip Sip Hooray
Your cards are fantastic, Stephanie! I love that you used colored paper instead of coloring the images. I’m always looking for alternatives because my coloring isn’t the best. Here in the Midwest, many people put a slice of sharp cheddar on top of apple pie!
So super cute! I love how you used colored and patterned paper for the little croc and scene! Really creative thanks so much for sharing 🙂
Love the cards and the way you put them together. You gotta love that Croc!
How darling all
your cards are!
