After being immersed in creativity last week, I have actually found it a bit challenging to get back into my own creative groove, so I spent yesterday putting everything away and cleaning my studio.
I decided to CASE the CAS design the talented Brian King and my new Stampin' Up Heartfelt Blooms stamps (available during Stampin' Up Sale-A-Bration) to restock my thank you card stash. I started with a variation of his blue-on-blue color combination.
I found that the Stampin' Up inks seemed to work best to bring out the details of this stamp (and not over-stamping it) so I used the one I have that seems right for flowers – Flirty Flamingo.
I love how quickly these came together.
I combined the two color palettes for a final sympathy card inspired by the same design.
Yea for a hour of getting inky.
