Today was filled with inky, painty, artsy fun.
I was up early for an Ice Resin Jewelry Making Class with Susan Lenhart Kazmer.
Lots of new experiences for me, but I was thrilled with the outcome. Can't wait to use the products we received to take home with us to make more fun things.
Next I ran into one of my original stamping idols … the oh-so-talented Julie Ebersole (aka Paper Trufflez … I couldn't resist grabbing a selfie).
Next stop was with Diana Reaveley and a preview of her new Dyalog Line including a set of coordinating stencil & stamp … I loved creating pink bricks.
You know it was a good class when you're hands look like this when you're finished.
And I finished my day with Sally Lynn McDonald and advanced Gel Press Techniques. Of course as usual, I got distracted by the bubble wrap and alcohol inks and ended-up taking my creative path on a little round-about journey, but I had a lot of fun and am going home with lots of prints.
We even printed on a leather bracelet with Text Printed on Yupo Paper (that I then decorated more with bubble wrap and alcohol inks).
I really love seeing what those pulls off the plate will produce.
Another awesome day of artsy fun. Tomorrow the show actually begins and I have more fun classes scheduled too. Can't wait to experience it.

Oh you look like you are having such FUN!! I love the resin object you made. Totally fun!! I am so jealous that you are able to be there!!
Would love to be there with you – looks like you had a ball. I truly feel that bubble wrap is a gift from God. You’re never too old to spend the day with bubble wrap…tell the kids that there’s more to use it for than just popping and they’ll take my stash
.
Yeah …. that ice resin class would be a great trial of those cool products! Quite a creatively messy-fun day indeed!
