Pink & Bootiful

When I saw the P is for Pink Halloween Challenge at Sisterhood of the Snarky Stampers, I knew I had to join the fun.

And when I saw the Paper Smooches Monthly theme was also pink, I pulled out some of Kim's spooky Paper Smooches stamps to use.

October 2017 Challenge (1)

I started with pink cloud designer paper from DCWV Boutique Vintage.  I decided to use this week's Match the Sketch Challenge for my layout.

Instead of contrasting paper across the top, I decided to use Ghost Washi Tape from Eyelet Outlet.  I love how the translucency of the tape makes the ghosts look a bit pink.

Next I stamped two ghosts from Paper Smooches Spookalicious on White Cardstock together with the top sentiment.

Remember, if you need several of the same stamp, position it in your MISTI, so you can just rotate the paper for the 2nd one (and leave the stamp in place).  You can even do four if you position it in the corners.

And remember in the land-before-die-cuts when we had to fussy cut all of our images … I find it sort of meditative in small doses.

I also stamped the Bat from Spookalicious and finished with a second sentiment from Paper Smooches Slang Gang … because isn't this card Adorbs?

  2. Absolutely gorgeous! Those ghosts are so cute, and I’m right with you about a bit of fussy cutting being relaxing. Thanks for getting pink with the Sisterhood.

  4. This really is BOOtiful in pink! I’m not good enough at fussy cutting to find it relaxing 😉 but the close-cutting of your ghosts is perfect. Thanks for joining the fun at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers!
