I love searching for vintage sheet music at estate sales … especially if it's an aged brown pile that is completely falling apart.
At Jingle Belles this week we're creating vintage designs, so I used some scraps of sheet music (some Christmas … some not) to create a collaged background for my design.
Next I used red ink to stamp my image several times on pages from a vintage receipt book from an Iowa Hardware & Implement store. I added a wrap of twine that I thought worked with my rustic design.
This card was lots of inky, papery fun.
