Wild and Crazy

I love pulling out my Retro Rubber for the Retro Rubber Stamps Challenge.

Today I used my woodblock Wild & Crazy Stamp from Hero Arts (said in my best Steve Martin impression) with some Hero Arts Tide Pool to Navy Ombre Ink pad. The trick is inking the bottom half of the stamp and then flipping the ink pad to ink the top half to end-up with the Tide Pool middle.

I thought a pair of Risky Business sunglasses (a brad from Eyelet Outlet) were the perfect masculine accent for this week's Mojo Monday Sketch.

  1. I was admiring your beautiful ombre background, so I’m happy you explained it! The glasses are a cute addition – if the birthday gets too wild, they’ll be needed the next day! How retro is your rubber? Unlike a lady, it’s always good to know a stamp’s age :-). Thanks for joining us at Retro Rubber for our Anything Goes challenge?
