I love this new wide Washi Floral Washi Tape … the wider tape makes it much easier to cover the front of a card … and the transparency of this tape allows it to have lots of different looks depending on your background paper.
This is how it looks on a darker blue cardstock. I added a lovely row of black pearls to accent my sentiment.
This is the same tape on light blue cardstock. One trick when you cover cards with washi tape is to burnish it with a bone folder to allow the background color to show through as much as possible.
Sentiment stamps are My Favorite Things Deepest Sympathy.
So many possibilities for creating with this gorgeous tape.
Products used:
- Wide Floral Washi Tape (soon to be released)
- Black Pearl Bling Strips

I just came from the Eyelet Outlet blog where I first spied these cards, but I thought I’d come here and leave some love, too. These are beautiful and innovative. I never would have thought to use washi this way. I’m your newest follower, too!
How cool is this? I thought you had used background stamps at first. This looks so cool!!
