I finally had a little time tonight to start catching-up on my 12 Tags of Christmas with a Feminine Twist.
Day 6 is a color challenge with Purples & Grays.
I tried to create some inky magic like Jill did on her tag … mine isn't quite as dramatic, but I like it.
I used three purple Distress Inks on glossy cardstock to create my inky background … and then I stamped my Tim Holtz Santa in the darker of the purples and clear embossed to make it pop a bit more.
I added in the grays with my mats and ribbon and finished with a leftover Lawn Fawn die cut stitched snowflake that was on my craft table, perfecting for joining in at Happy Little Stampers for their Anything Goes with Dies Challenge.
