Stenciled Birthday Celebration

I don't know about you, but for me creating a clean & simple card that includes stenciling is quite a challenge.  I'm embarrassed to even admit how many sheets of smudged messy stenciled cardstock ended up in the recycle bin during the making of this card.

Week 198 - Stencil

But since Stencil is the theme at the CASology challenge, I remained persistent until I got the look I wanted.

Since STAMPlorations is sponsoring the CASology Challenge, I broke out my Gridlocked Stencil with kraft ink and used some new STAMPlorations sentiment builders CELEBRATE stamps.

The layout is this week's Mojo Monday Sketch.

It's also Stamps & Anything Goes for the STAMPlorations Challenge in May.  They also have a CAS Card Challenge each month.

  3. This would make a fab masculine birthday card, the kraft balloons work really well with the wood DP and stencil.
Thanks for sharing at STAMPlorations. 🙂
