When I saw this week's CAS(E) this sketch, I knew I wanted to do Color Burst Resist.
I stamped the outline of Alt E New's Halftone Happy in White Ink on Watercolor Paper and Clear Embossed. I sprayed with water and sprinkled on Merlot and Yellow Ochre Color Burst before spraying with more water and dabbing with a paper towel until I got the look I wanted.
After my paper dried, I finished with the birthday sentiment stamped in black & clear embossed.
I'm also joining Focus on the Sentiment at the House that Stamps Built. It's also Anything Goes at Seize the Birthday.

Oh, what a stunning background! Very cool take on the sketch!
