This week's Fusion Card Challenge is all about Autumn.
While I love the changing leaves in autumn … I also love to watch the farm fields change as well. I featured Impression Obsession's Corn for my fall fusion design.
I stamped it in black ink on a piece of paper that I had water-colored using Color Brush Watercolor Powders. I used a gold metallic Kirarina Wink Pen to highlight the ears of corn.
My sketch design uses actual *wood* paper on the bottom inspired by the wooden chair in the inspiration photo. The sentiment is from Impression Obsession Circle Greetings.
It's a bit of a stretch, but I'm also linking-up at the Fall Florals theme at Impression Obsession … because ears of corn are the Fall Flowers of Iowa.

Such amazing colouring and the gold really works at focusing the corn, a lovely Autumn feel x
what a beautiful background for this wonderful ear of corn! Julia xx
that is a very cool stamp and the CB background just sooooo totally makes it! ♥
Gorgeous background and the colored corn is perfect for it.
Neat, creative card! Being from no IL where there are fields of corn everywhere, I love the image. Like your coloring, too. Looks like fall Indian corn. Nice work! 🙂
I love that you used the ear of corn to represent your fall floral! Wonderful bg that you created with water colors and the touch of gold really highlights the image.
Very cool technique! Love it!
