For some reason I was stuck for this week's Christmas Carol-themed Jingle Belles card … I had an idea in my head and couldn't find the elements that I know I have somewhere in my stash (they'll likely turn-up tomorrow, which is how it usually works).
So as I often do when I'm stuck, I just started pulling out anything I could possibly find that might work with the theme … and when I saw this Penny Black Christmas at Dusk sticker, I knew I would build a card around it inspired by this week's Muse Challenge Card by Kristie Goulet.
I started by framing my silhouette sticker with a golden oval to pull out that color in the design. I initially started with a white card base like Kristie, but ultimately decided that red pulled the design together.
I couldn't find the sentiment I wanted, so I printed it on the card base … I used to love belting out that song for the holidays. It still seemed a bit *naked* for me, so I added a wrap of coordinating gold twine along the horizon.
We hope you'd come join us and create a card inspired by your favorite Christmas Carol.
