I got some new Essentials by Ellen stamps this week, so I decided to play along again with their Mix-It-Up Challenge to combine Ellen's stamps with Hero Arts (because the $50 prize would buy a lot of creative fun).
I started with Essentials by Ellen Fancy Thanks (don't you love that font). I loved the *heart of gold* sentiment, so I decided to design around it.
I stamped that sentiment (together with the tiny heart from the same set) using Delicata Golden Glitz ink and Gold Detail Embossing Powder. I combined them with Clearly Kelly Super Cool from Hero Arts. Instead of giving the tin man a heart … I gave my robot a heart of gold.
I colored him using Spectrum Noir Marker CG2, which approximated the Pear Pizzazz in the Nacho Average Color Challenge. I added accents (and some shading on his body) using my Wink of Stella Gold Brush Pen.
I finished with a sentiment from Kelly's set using a The Crooked Stamper Sketch Challenge.

Mmmm, Delicata Gold is delicious! And your robot is just a modern-day Tin Man. 🙂
Thanks so much for playing my challenge!
