We are going *a-WASHI-ing* at Jingle Belles by creating cards that feature some Washi Tape … a theme suggested by our Lovely Guest Star Lela Meinke.
I have some washi tape (okay I have an embarassingly large amount of washi tape), so I used lots of it to create my washi tape background. I combined reds, teals and silvers to create a somewhat cohesive theme.
I punched a teal Christmas tree and blinged-it-out before attaching it to white doily. I finished with an SRM Happy Holidays Sticker Sentiment which adhered nicely to the washi tape.

Oh, how lovely! And in fact, I have BOXES full of washi tape and hardly ever use it… I might go with your basic idea here!
A fun and festive combination of washi tape combined for a fabulous background! I too have, errr, LOTS, of washi. My girlfriends LeeAnn swears it breeds overnight, lol!
