Altitude Snowflakes

Our second prompt of 2015 at Jingle Belles is Bring In the New … make a card using supplies that are new-to-you.

I started with a new Tim Holtz Snowflake Die with Coordinating Embossing Folder … then I added two more new snowflake die cuts from Simon Says Stamp.

The white cardstock seemed stoo stark (and didn't bring out the embossing like I wanted), so I spritzed with Fireworks Spray that coordinated with my new backround paper from Bo Bunny's gorgeous Altitude Collection.

I finished with a snowflake epoxy sticker that wasn't new, but had never been opened (which pretty much equates to *new* in my studio).  I had used the Hero Arts Very Merry Christmas set, but used a sentiment from it that had never seen ink … with my new Hero Arts Charcoal Ink … whew, that's a lot of new.

I'm also joining the Add Snowflakes challenge at Love to Create.

  1. Oh * my * goodness!!! This is absolutely stunning!!! First because I LOVE this line and also have much of it and second and most importantly, those SNOWFLAKES!!! Wow – I really need to find out what this Fireworks spray is!
    I absolutely, LOVE your card!!!
Thank you for your continued inspiration! I have a card to share for this week’s challenge as soon as the sun comes up and I can photograph it. I am so going to be prepared next holiday season!
    Shanna 🙂
