Gingham Pine Cone Christmas

When I saw this week's Fusion Card Challenge, I knew I wanted to do a Fusion Card (I love both banners & gingham) … and I knew I wanted to use pine cones.  Only one problem … I didn't think I've ever made a card with pine cones before (okay after searching, I have made one in 2008 featuring pine cone paper)

I went searching through my stash and thankfully found a pine cone trio stamp in Artistic Outpost's Midwinter Set.  I stamped it four times on in brown ink on kraft cardstock and detail cut the largest center pinecone. I attached the top pinecone in each pair with foam tape for dimension.

Next I found some Gingham designer paper.  I decided to use ivory music paper for the background since I was humming holiday carols the entire time I made this card.  I finished with a stamp from the same stamp set on ivory cardstock.
