Every October, my home town celebrates The Maple Leaf Festival … and I always get homesick for my family, marching bands, and the beautiful trees. Here's a picture my Mom took with our courthouse in the background.
So when I saw the Kay Miller's Card at The Cutting Edge, I saw a fun & funky take on home.
I wanted to capture both the colors and feel of her design … and my longing for my family and home town this time of year.
I also wanted to use my Lawn Fawn Stitched Leaves (and my Say Cheese Lawn Cuts) for the Lawnscaping Challenge to create a Fall-Themed Project. Sentiment is from Lawn Fawn Chit Chat.

ooooooooooh! ok, once again i’m laughing my head off b/c we’ve both done stitched leaves on the same day and yet in utterly different ways! have to say i’m kind of drooling over these cool diecuts, and such a brilliant idea to have them tumbling over and into and out of the polaroid frame! awesome take on the inspiration card, i love that you’ve made it all yours & all AUTUMN! not to mention a FAB entry in our unbeLEAFable “leaf me alone” challenge at SHOPPING OUR STASH! <3
