Faux Watercolor Fun

Tonight I had a little time to play along with the first Stretch Your Stamps Class.  This is my take on a faux watercolor technique demonstrated by Shari Carroll.

I went searching for my water spray bottle that I needed for the technique, but haven't located it since the move … so instead I used Sheer Shimmer Spritz, which produced a gorgeous sparkle.

Here is the image I got from my first stamping using Picked Raspberry, Peacock Feathers, & Mowed Lawn Distress ink on Hero Arts Florentine Pattern Backgrounder.  Sentiment is from Live & Laugh.

Here is a card made with my 6th stamping using the same colors and more Shimmer Spritz.

Sentiment is another from Live & Love.

I love how I was able to get six different backgrounds, which all have their own personality … awesome inky fun.
