Inky Sprays and Watercolors

I've been having lots of messy fun with the Dare to Get Dirty Challenges at SCS this weekend.

For this card, I stamped the Newspaper Skyline from Hero Arts in India Ink and then clear embossed.  I sprayed on 4 different ink sprays to get a shimmery sunset effect to my image.   Next I stamped my sentiment from Hero Arts Yay!

I attached my image to black cardstock & then wrapped with some Lawn Trimmings Orange Cord.  The final step was to attach it to an Ivory Card base with foam tape for dimension.  This card is for the Encouragement Theme at A2Z Scrapbooking.

Next I stamped the Hero Arts DesignBlock Birthday in India Ink and Clear Embossed.  I then colored with Watercolor Crayons using the colors from this week's Brown Sugar Challenge.

I used a paintbrush and water to soften and blend my colors, and then gave the card a few sprays of Bronze Gimmer Mist for subtle sparkle.  This card is for AAA Cards: Play with Watercolor.

I'm also joining the One Layer Challenge at Hero Arts.
