When I saw the fun colors in the 250th colourQ Challenge, I thought it would be fun to create a variation on a theme using different accent hues.
Since my birthday card stash is sorely depleted, I inked-up my new Happy Birthday Collage Stamp from Impression Obsession, which is also perfect for the Sheet Cake Challenge (One-Layer) at A Blog Named Hero.
I initially tried to ink the stamp with several colors, which just made it muddy. So instead, I inked with a single color and then edged the stamp using India Ink. I'm kind of partial to the Memento Teal Zeal one, but I like the other colors too.
This one uses Shabby Shutters Distress Ink.
And the final one is Memento Morocco.
I love how easy it was to re-fill my birthday card stash with just one stamp.

One design, many colors – perfect! What a great way to replenish your stash of birthday cards! Thanks for joining us at colourQ!
