Have you seen the new Spectrum Noir Blendable Colored Pencils? They are very strong and as the name suggests, very blendable.
I did my first card using only the new Pencils with no blending solution … just overlaying and blending colors.
I used one of the big butterflies from Sheena's A Little Bit Sketchy – True Colors set and colored it with Spectrum Noir Blendable Colored Pencils in 001, 037, 038, 040, 041, 068, 069, 075, 080 & 081. The sentiment is from the same great stamp set.
When I was finished, I sprayed on some Sheer Shimmer Mist in Frost. I detail cut my butterflie and attached it with 3-D Glue dots in the center for dimension. I finished with coordinating sequins for some more sparkle.
