This week's Splitcoast Stampers Inspiration Challenge is to make a card inspired by something from the AIGA Design Archives. I chose this beautiful Feather Book Cover to inspire my design. I loved the contrast of the single feather with the text.
I stamped my single feather from Sheena's Falling Feathers in Elderberry Memento Ink and then added three words from Sentimentals Friends and Family.
Why is purple so hard to photograph? (it always looks more black than purple). I attached the panel with foam tape for a bit of dimension, but I love the clean simplicity of the design.
