I love the image in today's Fusion Card Challenge … and the sketch has lots of great layers.
I started by wanting to create something similar to the brick wall background. I embossed kraft cardstock with my Gun Metal Embossalicious Folder and then added Brushed Corduroy and Festive Berries Distress Ink. I had thought that would be my background, but it ended-up working out better as one of my panels with my metallic copper background.
Next I used the same Distress Ink combination to stamp my Eiffel Tower Dress Form from Crafter's Companion Paris Travels. I added several of the Paris postmark images from the same set to give it more of a postcard feel like the photograph. I framed it with a gold mat to pull in the feel of the lovely scarf and then added a coordinating Prima Flower.
I finished with a Flowing Happy Birthday sentiment and several Studio Calico Printshop Word Stickers.

A beautiful mix of stampings on your oval Stephanie – love that inked embossed panel – it gives such depth to your card!
Nice card! Like how you combined the pic and sketch. Great design elements and layers. 🙂
I love this Stephanie! I wanted to use a dress form on my card, but nothing I tried looked half-way decent. You, however…rocked it! Love the brick colored ink and all the distressing you did to create a great background pattern.
Love that texture and the flower!!!!!!
Lovely details on it card, I love the dress form n colors. I struggle a lot with layered cards 🙂
I meant to say lovely details on ur card 🙂 sorry for the typo 😉
Really pretty!
Oh, I didn’t notice that the Eiffel Tower stamp was also a dress form. Good way to include it without it being overpowering.
Thanks also for your kind comments on my card for the challenge.
Sweet card, fun challenge! ~Diane
