When I was trying to decide how to color my butterfly, I was inspired by this gorgeous Blue Morpho Butterfly from Peru.
I used my Spectrum Noir Markers (specifically BG4, BG6, BG8, IB1, IB2, GT1) to color my Butterfly from the True Color Set and a layout from this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch. To get the same shimmer as the real butterfly, I painted on a coat of Sparkle Shimmer Spritz (I sprayed some on my craft sheet and applied with a paint brush).
I'm always thrilled when I can find Beatles references in stamp sets … love this sentiment from the same set.
I formed my wings and used glue dots to attach my butterfly with dimension. I'm also joining the Beautiful Butterflies Challenge at Make My Monday.
