Personalized Wedding Cards

I love to make wedding cards that incorporate the colors of the wedding invitation.  I also had a request to make some cards that incorporated the new couple's name and some fancy initial stickers … and this is what I came-up with.

I started by sizing and coloring the name in my word processing program to coordinate with the letter sticker.  I tried several fonts and decided that I liked the clean look of Cambria for my names.  I sized the Mr. and Mrs. slightly smaller than the last name to get a balanced look with my sticker.

I printed the name on textured ivory card stock and then over-stamped the Penny Black Bride and Groom.  I used colored pencils to add a small bit of color to the bouquet and boutineer.

I'm joining the Clean and Simple and Classy and Elegant Challenge at the Love to Create Challenge Blog … so nice to be able to create a card that is BOTH.

This will be a design that is easy to reproduce by changing the colors and the name … love that.

  1. Nice card! The design compliments the “antique” style of the letter sticker very nicely. Nice blend of old and new. 🙂
