I needed a card for a male truck driver who is celebrating a truck driving milestone. I knew I wanted to use my 18-Wheeler from Viva Las Vegastamps & this sentiment from Unity's Authentic Man, as well as this week's Freshly Made Sketch … but I couldn't figure out what color combination to use.
I decided to take a peek at today's Inspiration Challenge at SCS … Packaging of the World … and quickly found my answer in these re-designed Listerine Bottles.
My Mind's Eye Lime Twist Let's Go Fly a Kite papers had three of the four colors, which worked perfectly.
My truck is colored with soon-to-be-released Colored Pencils from Spectrum Noir (love them) and I finished with a double-layered star attached with a 3-D Glue Dot (I sponged a bit of ink around the edges of the orange star for depth and to cover up the white bits that sometimes show when you punch designer paper.
