Stamp-It Australia Sneak Peak

My favorite line of Stamps at Crafter's Companion are from the Stamp-It Australia Line … and the three new stamp sets they will be releasing on Thursday are no exception.  This line is called Dreamer … and they are dreamy.

This card is made with a single stamp from the set called Take Flight which includes butterflies, bees, peacocks … and inspiring words.

  This card started with another *extra* watercolor background from my Memento Fireworks watercoloring experiments … always make extras.  For the focal panel I stamped the image and then sprayed with Memento Fireworks Summer Sky.  Next I flipped the paper over and smushed the corners in the leftover pools of spray on my craft mat (which included mostly the blue but a little Pear Tart from the background spray too) … I love the effect.

I also took inspiration from today's Splitcoast Stampers Inspiration Challenge … Rain … specifically the watery look and blended colors of this rainy image.

The finishing touch was adding some pear colored jewels in her hair.
